I wanted to compare how my non-rusty "Rusty" 82G would shoot either with or without bipod (but on a sandbag forestock rest).
After shooting 15 rounds in each configuration, the results are inconclusive. Groups are almost exactly the same, but the bipod configuration showed a vertical spread, while the sandbag configuration showed a horizontal spread. Hmmmm...
I believe the next time I can get to the range, I will repeat the same exercise, but using aperture sights instead of this scope. The reticle on this scope is a pretty coarse crosshair, more suited for hunting than target drilling.
