    I had been asked to post up some of my cold blue results. Unfortunately life has kept me away from the computer this weekend. However I will add as I get the time. 163.jpg 165.jpg 176.jpg First one, Single shot .22 Winchester, stock broken, finish 90 percent missing. Completely re-blued using cold blue, torch and steel wool. Added gold fill to the lettering once I was done. This one I sanded prior to starting to remove the dirt and some of the surface wear/dings/rust. When I redid the stock I just removed the finish and kept the dints/dings. The metal repair plates are also refinished ( those pics were too large to post )

    CanTex, thanks for the photos. It is amazing to see the transformation of an ugly duckling into a swan, just from the craft of a pair of willing hands.
