Made me smile. I recalled the 1st time CC for me. Red Lobster in Amarillo in 1996 and EVERYBODY was watching me.

I remember carrying the first few times and going to the mall and sitting on a bench, being scared and trying to convince myself that absolutely no one cared. They still don't... it still surprises me.

I still pull on my shirt while concealing....which is part of why I'm more comfortable openly carrying.

Brought truck to the dealer for warranty work.
HPD brought in four of their vehicles while I was sitting on an outside bench.
Yep ... three of the LEO's joined me on the bench, one standing facing us talking.

I agree. I felt much more comfortable open carrying, when I knew I could than I ever have concealed carrying. Concealed or not though, I'm always locked and loaded.
