"Come and take it" Festival in Gonzales

Just drove through Gonzales Thursday and they are going to have a "Come and take it" festival the first weekend in October. Wondering if anyone here would like to meet up down there. After all, we do use the "Come and take it" flag as kinda our own symbol. We all know what it stands for, why not show up and show our support for the community that sent men to the Alamo?? Who is with me? MG

(PS. I also want to try to pick up my own "Come and take it" flag!)

But Sat evening I have to pick up the wife from the airport, and Sun afternoon, I have to head back to south texas for the week. MG
