Bill offers legislation to support NO due process considered in adding names to NICS for those who have SSD for mental health and a payee.

Bill proposed to reinstate a rule change in SSA that Trump struck last year that would disallow people on social security disability involving mental health that have a payee to purchase a firearm in transactions involving a NICS background check.

Qualifies them automatically as “mental defective.”

Maybe you don’t know good, vulnerable, often elderly people, with mental health disabilities, who are on social security disability, who are NOT CONSIDERED dangerous to self or others, who deserve the means to defend themselves... but I do. This stinks. I’ll be emailing about this one.
