I want to know what the soldiers were doing going into the gang members house and shooting them anyway.

It was in the news a while back - US Army Reserve personel staged a home invasion over alleged stolen personal property (?) and shot the place up.
They have been caught and are being prosecuted...

Recieved that last week, FYI it is marked FOUO.

    Ooops opsec out the window......

Per: last line of the original post "This was already posted on the web".
So if it's already out there, is this still a violation?
    IDK - Just curious.

Lawton, Oklahoma is a delightful place.

Sucks the life out of Fort Sill.

If you don't work for the government or work as a contractor, there is not much else, just filth.

The gang element is nothing more than a microcosm of government dependent communities such as the District of Columbia, San Antonio, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami, etc.

    Be well.

Yes, it is still a violation, even though it may already be out there, it is still a violation to further publish.

    Probably not the greatest plan.
I'd say no different than any other target. Isn't like the military is going to do anything about it other than pressure the police to do something.
In fact, aren't military members prohibited from having firearms on base? So, they cannot carry to work?
Now if a few more of the boys took it into their hands to shutdown the punks, that'd be another story.

i'm a retired CID agent here - spent 4 years at fort hood

i can tell you that one of the big problems facing the Army - that you dont hear much about - is gang bangers enlisting and carrying on their affiliations while they're on active duty

the military commanders at hood had a serious problem with gang/soldiers tagging the walls IN THE BARRACKS - this was from 91 to 95 when i was there -so its not a new thing

one of the benefits to them being deployed so frequently is that it cuts down on their activity - but as they start drawing down in Iraq, i'd be willing to bet you'll see more of this kind of thing

I was at Fort Sill from 87 to 90 - Lawton is a stink hole - worthless town imo
