If your not concerned about looks you can build one pretty cheap. Couple sheets of plywood and some 2x4s. even throw in some 2x6 if you want it super strong.

If you can't find a prebuilt bench try making one its very gratifying to built your own equipment.

I didn't build my set up but as soon as I get my layaway guns paid off I'm going to revamp my man cave. This is my set up now, it's a carpenters table I bought from harbor freight it's surprisingly solid for harbor freight merchandise.

Dont listen to this joker! now give me your specs!

Oh C'mon, Just cause I built my bench in an hour an a half. Although it's more of utilitarian by design than asthetically pleasing.(I'll wait while you google the big words)

ya know I did get some college under my belt... cough cough jackass cough..

I built a work bench out of 2X4's at the wearhouse I used to run. Easy to build, and it's tough as hell !

your looking at roughly 150 with good lumber.

Oh and a little wood working tip for you. Mix your saw dust with regular ole' elmers' wood glue to get a seamless look when binding 2x4 studs for a table top finish

Unfortunately at this time I live in a small apartment and don't have the tools to do it. Also, as I stated about, I'm looking for a custom desk built that I can tuck myself into for HOURS of work. As you can imagine, I'm not a fan of stools.

Hell I would save the $100 bucks and buy a hand saw, inexpensive driver and a speed square. Then start building with the lumber I would have bought anyway.

I ordered the parts I wanted from McMaster Carr... McMaster-Carr

1.75" thick maple top at 72"x30"
35" tall extra heavy duty stationary legs
Lower shelf, upper shelf, and stringer

They also have some pretty nice pre-built units.

    Good luck!
