I would love to purchase CZ stock. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a brokerage that provides access to the Prague Stock Exchange.

CZ did well by the Dan Wesson brand, I think they'll do well with Colt, and Colt will wind up being more responsive to the gun buying public.

Colt has good products and reputation with terrible management. With any luck, CZ will be able to capitalize on what Colt brings to the table and make good business decisions going forward. It's hard to see the ownership go overseas, but it would be worse to see it bulldozed and buried.

Here's hoping this works out well.
CZ seems to have its priorities right. Look at what they've done with Dan Wesson. Dan Wesson's are probably the best factory 1911's made now.
I agree Colt has made very good products in the past and still do make a pretty good 1911 they can do better.
Colt management is the problem.
CZ should fire every last one of them. Install a new team while moving production out of Connecticut.
Move the entire operation somewhere in the south.
They oughta make up to lines of products.
1.) Retro line - make SAA's, 1911's, 1903's, etc.
2.) Modern line - updated auto pistols, new revolvers like the Python and Diamondback,, AR's, etc.
And for God's sake bring out a great .22 auto pistol!

Looking forward to seeing how CZ will handle the Colt product line. I have a feeling that this is going to work out well but we will see.
