There are a lot of Czech's in Texas and it's good to see the old homeland sending out it's support hundred of years after they migrated out. Good on them, that's a lot of money and they have zero reason to do it other than their own good.

When I was in West today it was immediately apparent as soon as you get off the highway that it has a very strong Czech presence with its residents.

West is always my last stop of the road trip when I come back to DFW from CC. I usually hop off to the Sonic since it's usually late in the evening.

Yeah, I should. Unless I'm traveling with someone else, I usually just pit and go to keep the road time down. My Dad is good about knowing the good spots since he's been all over the state for work the last 35yrs (NRCS) and I think about him when I see the bbq stops and bakeries. Few things better than a brisket sandwich when you're on the road.
