Dallas Turkey Trot

I recently started working for a young lady who I have known for about 5 years. She was not a manager back then, and has moved up the ranks with this privately held company. Last week she told me that her sister signed the two of them and their third sister for the Dallas 5k Turkey Trot. The sisters don't run and were going to walk. My boss knows I run and asked me if I would run the 5k with her.

I did, we did, and had a great time. It was my first official 5k, but it won't be my last. I really enjoyed it. Pics later....

Then I went to my folks and had turkey. Yuum.

I had pants on (sweat pants)....so Hell Yes! lol

My day was the same.....except for the running part.

Sister in law and her daughter ran the turkey trot in Austin. I can guarantee she didn't carry because her liberal tears would have rusted a polymer gun into oblivion since the election. They did however eat a copious amount of turkey.

I heard they had a Turkey Trot on Ft Hood. Maybe next year ill go. This year was more just hanging out at home and getting fat.
