That's a more likely scenario. Only nimrods who know nothing about guns would believe the "shot himself while cleaning his weapon" bullshit. God only knows why he'd be pointing the weapon at his junk. Even if you don't disassemble the weapon, you need easy access to the bore to push the bore brush down it. But doing that without locking the slide back or dropping out the cylinder is stupidity.
