Took my teenage daughter to the range for her first time ever to shoot a shotgun. 20ga Ithaca pump. She missed the first bird and then busted the next seven in a row! Hit about 80% overall.
Brunetti had a blast and thought it was tremendous fun. Even fired about a dozen rounds through Benelli and Beretta 12 gauge semiautos, but she liked the 20 better. She'd wanted to do some other activities today, but once she got going busting the clay birds, she didn't want to leave. Shot about 70 rounds total. The girl is a natural and I knew she would fall in love with shooting trap.
Her High Power coach happened to be at the range and asked her if she wanted to accept her first AR student. She's going to be tutoring an Army sargeant to help him improve his AR skills. She said she may start by teaching him how the Marines shoot.
It was a beautiful day in SE Texas today, temp in the high 60s and not a cloud in the sky. Sorry I don't have any pics, but I was told I couldn't bring my camera.
