    Please get rid of it.

It doesn’t save anything. It just tricks everyone into waking up an hour earlier.

In the Summer, when it’s 100 plus, I
never wish for the Sun to stay up another hour at 8 PM

Know it drove my old Grandad crazy back in the 50s. If you happen to ask him what time is it? He would check his watch and say “Well they claim it’s 2 o clock but it’s really 3 o clock.” He’s the same guy who along with the old man next door..refused to look up when old Sputnick sizzled over our heads in 59. They both thought it was a Rooski trick of some type.

And one of my favorite quotes:
“Daylight saving time: Only the government would believe that you could cut a foot off the top of a blanket, sew it to the bottom, and have a longer blanket.” -- Anonymous

Okay, it doesn’t make the day longer and we still have the same number of hours of sunshine. However, I get an extra hour of sunshine after I get off work. I wake up early, but getting my wife up to go riding on the weekends never works out early. Maybe we should just stick with DST. :)

When I used to walk a beat from 7 PM to 3 AM, this was my favorite Saturday night to work. The fall sucked because the 8 hour shift on your feet became a 9 hour shift.

Exactly. Spring ahead and leave it that way. I want more daylight at the end of the day.

don't care what the clock says.

I still go to work when told go home when told.

After a week no one is effected by it.

    I don’t think so.

In the Summer I find it hard to get enough sleep because of how late the Sunset is.

Also, during school, it’s dark when the kids are waiting for the bus in the mornings.

Plus, evening baseball and football games are hotter.

Why not just leave it at the natural time? If someone wants to wake up an hour earlier and leave work an hour earlier, let them make those arrangements with their employers.

Maybe you should just move to the east coast.
