I shot this hog at my feeder when i was washing my brothers truck a few days ago. I stalked my way up to it and took the shot at about 40-50 yards. Ran about 20 yards and fell over, it made no noise after the shot which i though was wierd. My first hog here in Tx! Yes i shot it with flip flops on LOL! Im learning fast that the chiggers and ants out here and flip flops dont mix.

That's a good question. As well as shot placement. Hard to see the .22 hole in the pic. In any case, good job!

Let's hope rick didn't chase him off.

Good shooting. What was the load you popped that hog with.

    Asking for a friend….

im still here, i shot it with a green tip in the neck, 1 tiny hole in and 1 tiny hole out, there was VERY little blood, prolly because no wound channel expansion from the green tip. the hog was crawling with ticks and fleas i believe, and it smelled very bad, when i approached it after it died, it had 3 foot worms coming out of its butt. was a loner hog i guess, i thought they roamed in numbers.

Some hogs don’t bleed much no matter what your shoot them with. With that thing leaking worms out it’s ass end I’m hoping you just threw it on a brush pile & sparked it up.

i did not butcher it. saddens me cause i was excited to use my knife set I bought years and years ago, and to smoke up some tenderloins. I been have deer at my feeder everyday, i wish some hog would roll through. I have a bunch of game cam footage since december of last year.
