    i found a del ton m4 kit for $485 and am seriously thinking about buying it, i just want to get some opinions first.

    its a complete m4 kit less lower receiver they have a wide array of options for different parts, if i do get it i thinking about doing the chrome lined barrel and the yhm flip up front sight

    Not too bad about on par with everyone else and even better if its in stock. A guy I work with is still waiting on his from Model 1 and he ordered it 2 months ago.

    Built my AR 15 two years ago using a Del Ton 16 " carbine upper kit and a Double Star lower. Mine turned out to be a great shooter and cost me around $600.00 to build at the time. You can't go wrong with the Del ton IMO.....

    My first AR was that exact kit. Luckily I built mine in April of last year so I had it in 2 weeks. You won't get it that quick right now. I've been very happy with mine so far.

    Del-ton makes some great stuff, very nice and helpful guys too. When I was stationed in NC, I'd see them at the gunshows all the time. Bought several things from them and never had any problems.
