What the hell happened? Background info: We're helping our youngest son find/buy a house in Arlington. We're looking at foreclosures to save $$$, and spent yesterday evening driving around to a few his realtor sent him listings on via email.
We lived in Arlington from 1997-2003, and are familiar with most areas, or so we thought! Went through several subdivisions that six years ago were really nice. Now, you'd think you were in a third world country from the condition of the houses. Weeds, tall grass, four or five cars in the driveway and yards, garbage by the front door, etc.
WTF happened? I didn't think six years would have changed the whole face of communities until after yesterday.....Sad.
