If you want BBQ why not get some REAL BBQ and not the Rudy's sub-par stuff?
I don't know of anything in the Arlington area but if you were going to do it in Denton then I would suggest Metzler's.

I ate there Wednesday for some pre-USPSA fuel... That's a pretty good central location for Dallas/Fort Worth folks. I'd probably head over there if I can get out of the house.

I recommend bone daddy's. They have three locations that I know of: Dallas - 75/spring valley, Arlington, and Plano - Dallas north tollway/Parker.

I will be at the Dallas location at noon.

Rudy's is AWESOME BBQ...IMHO...but then again, I don't live in the area anymore...so I won't be able to make it...I just love Rudy's...in Tyler!
Drive down to J'ville and try a place called Stacy's in front of the Wal-Mart on 69.
It's been forever since I've eaten there but it never let me down the many times I ate there when I lived in J'ville.

There is also a bone daddys in grapevine...

There's a Bone Daddy's in Arlington ... North side of I20 between Matlock on the west and Collins on the east

And there is a new Redneck heaven in North Ft. worth area.

Alright, you guys have till the end of today to make a decision and stick with it.

    1) Needs to be central.
    2) Needs to be somewhat family oriented. (Bone Daddy's is OK, but no strip joints)
    3) Needs to be affordable.
