    240,000 agents 90 rounds each.

    Even if let's say only 1\4 are field agents that carry, I don't know every DHS agent I know personally is armed, that's 360 rounds, or one round a day\year of shooting :-)

    Let's also hope they're getting proper training. I'd like to see that budget.

    I'm really surprised at how few people think this is a bad thing.

    DHS is not the police and not the military. Other than the border patrol (which has been pretty much banned from shooting anybody), the only people they could be shooting is us.

    240,000 agents??? DHS may have that many employees, but most are clerical.

    It sounds like they have a very low opinion of their marksmanship capabilities. A marksman needs ONE bullet.
