This is the kind of thing that concerns me most about this administration. I have a long list of grievances otherwise, but this tendency toward shutting up opposing views (dissidents?) is downright frightening - or should be.

Consider: first it was the officer in Cambridge that arrested one of Obama's friends, after which Obama said the cop acted "stupidly". Here we have the "Leader of the Free World" taking a moment out of his busy schedule to insult a cop that was just doing his job.

Then the Democrats used the SEIU goons to shut people up - and sometimes rough them up - in the August town hall meetings, not to mention the insults hurled at the protesters by the media, Congress, and Obama's own people. They were talking about us and people like us.

The White House set up a web site for people to snitch on each other if someone said something "fishy" about health care reform.

We have the ongoing attacks against talk radio personalities that dare to disagree with his policies and statements.

There's the 'cold war' between the White House and Fox News.

And now Edmund's is on their enemies list?!

Folks, these are the kinds of things a dictator or autocrat would do - Hugo Chavez must be impressed and amused by all of what's happening here. Much of this is coming straight from the top; Obama himself (or is that 'Himself'?) and his closest advisers are directing these attacks. And if Congress should ever get around to reviving the Fairness Doctrine, there would then be a legal tool to use to stifle conservative radio programs to the point where they would be unsustainable.

Where's that 1st Amendment when you need it?

Wait for it ... it will get worse.

They put a gag order on an insurance company for sending healthcare information to their clients.
    Great list by the way!
