And you are going to believe a Chicago DA? ROTFL!
I believe he's more knowledgeable on Illinois law than any of us, and made the right decision in this case...

You mean like Rob Emanuel?I believe he's more knowledgeable on Illinois law than any of us, and made the right decision in this case...
Rahm.You mean like Rob Emanuel?
You gonna put up bail money?I love a happy ending.
The story reads like the owner was in front of the Jeep when the kid took off. The theft alone justifies the shoot but the kid also tried to run him down.
For those of you who would give your stuff away to a thief before shooting, you are part of the problem.
Why? Because you are too weak to do what needs to be done? You gonna put up bail money?
He is Rob to me. Get it? Rob as in steal.Rahm.
Quit saying stuff I agree with. It just seems so wrong......I think what gets lost in cases of theft is the total toll the victim suffers.
Its not just the item that was stolen, its the actual cost/loss to the rightful owner.
My home has been broken into twice with many items taken.
The second time was very bad. The thieves practically took everything I had. Guns, tools, other belongings. Hell, they even took bedsheets. It was devastating both financially and emotionally. I didn't really give a darn about the TV or the stereo but Grandfathers pocket watch and Great-Great Uncle's military sword hurt. They can never, ever be replaced.
Insurance is a fvcking joke. The bastards will not pay.
Even if they did, the family heirlooms are gone. Even if you could find a replacement it is not the same thing.
Another example is your automobile.
Yes, there are others like it. You worked gobs of overtime to afford the vehicle you wanted. Gave up many hours of family time. Worked yourself hard. Now you have your dream car. Then some ******* steals it. All that time and effort you spent are stolen as well.
Again, Insurance is a fvcking joke. They make up some lame ass excuse not to pay you. Or cheat you short.
Its not the loss of the item so much as that part of your life thieves rob you of. THAT is why all thieves should die.
As much as it pains me to agree with Sharia Law, chopping a low down dirty thief hand off isn't a bad idea.
Having been there myself, I agree it is a horrible experience to be robbed.I think what gets lost in cases of theft is the total toll the victim suffers.

I know the feeling. Sometimes I see you post things that I was about to say. It just ain’t right.Quit saying stuff I agree with. It just seems so wrong......
Hell, they even took bedsheets.
Simply because your "advice" could land someone in jail. Is everything this black and white to you? Why? Because you are too weak to do what needs to be done?
If you won't defend your possessions because somebody wants to take them then you don't deserve them in the first place.
Simply because your "advice" could land someone in jail. Is everything this black and white to you?
There could be other options than shooting someone in the back to get your stuff back.

I find myself . . . agreeing with Moonpie. WTF???I think what gets lost in cases of theft is the total toll the victim suffers.
