Well I replaced the window regulator and it works smooth as silk. The only hang up is where the glass rides on the regulator channel sometimes falls off. The glass had at one time some rubber stripping so that channel has something to bite into. Is that included in a weather stripping kit?? Or where do I find that piece?

Some come in a kit and other use a rubber glue in a tube.
If the glass can be glued in, glue it with butal sealer for glass.
Same stuff that you use on the old style windshields.

the rubber stripping is called glass tape and comes in different thicknesses to suit. Put a strip of tape on the glass and hammer the channel onto it with a rubber mallet. Glass tape might be a little difficult to get, try a glass store or auto trim shop. Gluing on channels is not a good long term repair in my exp.

Madmo you'd be proud of me. The drivers side door works now!! Opens and closes perfectly and the window works as well. Now I have to get more door panel clips to finish it off.
