    Unless you have access to private land, you of course need a lease. Day leases run from around $50 - $100 opening week end, then most go down a bit after that. There also are season long leases. You can also check out the areas that are offered by the TWD which require an endorsement on your hunting license. About $50 for the year. There are not too many of these TWD areas in North Texas. The only ones I know of are, one near Krum, and the areas around Ray Roberts lake north of Denton. I hunted the one in Krum last year, but didn't want the crazyness of opening week end, so I waited a week. Not much action as by that time all the birds were pretty gun shy.

    I'm going to look into an early day lease this year in northern Tarrant County.

    yes i'm aware of all that - last year a member here posted about a day lease opportunity

    just trying to start a thread in the event somebody has an opening for a single or one more
