Dove Hunting

I came from AZ where you can hunt on public land..where can I dove hunt near Houston?

Better make some friends that own land. It sucks but that is how it goes here.

Generally the more guns the merrier with Dove hunting so people will invite you out if you show interest. Just ask around and you may be surprised.

Just a suggestion, but you could try Texas Parks and Wildlife Type II publis lands. Especially in the Dayton area. It's been a few years since I went, but we had both great and not so good hunts. Here is a link. Good luck.

I am in Katy, and would also like to make a few dove hunts this year. If ANYONE out there has information or needs an extra gun in the field, PLEASE let me know.

I made one hunt last year with my brother and his neighbor at a lease the neighbor found on Craigslist. Just north of I-10 near the Igloo plant. Didn't even fire my gun.
