I have wireless cameras, xmarto (Amazon) have the ability to act as repeaters so they can be daisy chained for long distances. Some of their cameras have a connector for a mic.
They are 12v so I set a pole, mounted a large solar cell, built a box on the pole to hold a sealed battery and solar controller. Do the math to make sure the battery is large enough to last over night.
I mounted that stuff about 10'-12' off the ground to keep critters and kids from messing with it. I'll try to take some pics this weekend.
Mine are connected to a NVR and 8 cameras keep a rolling 28 days with a 1tb drive. The NVR is connected to a WiFi access point that isn't internet connected and I use my phone (an old phone) or tablet on that network to monitor.
I also have a driveway alarm but it only sounds in the house. It supports multiple detectors and receivers. Each detector can be set set for a different tone at the receivers. That way I know which one went off.
Hope that helps
