E-Z Pass Phishing Scam

Not really a rant, more of a heads-up. I just received an email exactly like the one shown. Subject line was "Indebtedness for driving on a toll road". This is a scam to get your credit card info or download malware to your computer. I have deactivated the original link below.

	Dear customer, You have not paid for driving on a toll road. This invoice is sent repeatedly, please service your debt in the shortest possible time. The invoice can be downloaded here.

Just be aware and delete the email without clicking on anything. There is no EZ Pass in Texas.

I still have an E-Z Pass account from my time in the Northeast ... they are aware of this scam and sent out emails to their customers warning about it as well.

I've gotten three of them in the last two weeks. Straight to the trash folder.

Not even a good phishing scam. The poor English always gives it away.
