No. In theory .223 wylde sould be capable of firing 5.56

Occasionally .223 wylde chambers aren't properly cut, which can cause pressure issues

People think it can result in better accuracy.

In my experience it doesn't matter, no one has been able to show solid proof that .223 wylde is more accurate or precise than a proper 5.56 chamber

I have a Rock River AR with the Wylde chamber. Its very accurate out to 200 yds. I have shot both ammos but mostly my reloads.
