I would buy one in a heart beat if it had a sound generator to replicate the trademarked Harley sound.

Electric cars, trains, and other conveyances still need fossil fuels to generate the electricity to charge their batteries.

I'd like to see a Harley powered by a micro thermonuclear fuel cell.

As mentioned though, you can't beat the torque curve of electric. From a performance standpoint, they can be awesome.


I could see a market for a decently powered electric bike for cheap commuting, but the initial cost and eventual battery replacement would most likely offset fuel savings until battery technology makes a couple more leaps.
