I’ve never used an expander mandrel die with an expander mandrel. I just use the standard FL sizing dies with expander ball you pull through. I’ve had, in my opinion, pretty good results using this method. Accuracy is outstanding, and my ES and SD numbers are fine, especially considering that the longest I have the opportunity to shoot is 600 yards. That being said, I’m always looking for the best, most precise, way to load up my rifle rounds. My question is, would the LE Wilson mandrel die with the LE Wilson mandrels be worth investing in? Or if I’m going to go this route, should I be looking at the Sinclair or K&M products, which are names I seem to hear pretty often?

The only use I have for " Mandrel's & a Mandrel die is for turning the case necks for my custom barrel's on my precision rifles .
I do use neck bushing's on my sizing dies to control the amount of neck tension that I what to have.

I use a universal mandrel die with the appropriate mandrel for caliber.

Expander balls “can” change your shoulder datum line.

I've been looking into the same thing, and I think I am leaning wilson. That said, I don't think the brand is as important with an expander mandrel and die as, say, a sizing die or seating die.
