Ok folks this is the time and date for Febuary's Texas gun owner meetup. If you are new to gun ownership and handling, please ask for assistance.
Before attending a Texas Gun Owner meet, please review this thread:
Gun Safety 101 - START HERE
Our general rules are:
Rule #1 The Gun Is Always Loaded!
Rule #2 Never Point The Gun At Something You Are Not Prepared To Destroy!
Rule #3 Always Be Sure Of Your Target And What Is Behind It!
Rule #4 Keep Your Finger Off The Trigger Until Your Sights Are On The Target!
Rule #5 ABSOLULTELY NO HANDLING of guns, ammo, gear, or standing near benches when range is cold. You will be asked to leave and barred form any further activities with this group
More about our group. From meet pics, member pics, gun questions and discussions, 99% of our "off range" activity happens on our main site. Drop by for more information. If there is anything in particular you'd like to see or shoot, suggest, or change, that's the place to do it.
Generally speaking, we meet on the handgun range from noon until two p.m., give or take. Depending on member interest, and with a month's notice, we can move a meet to shotgun/clay or rifle.
Generally lunch is from two pm until we get tired of talking. Location to be determined.
Again, safety is rule number one at any meet. If you are new to guns, need extra assistance, etc., please do not hesistate to ask. TGO has the friendliest, and most helpful, group of shooters you'll ever meet.
Look for the Blue Jeep with the Texas Gun Owner Banner and Flags on the pistol range.
