When the calendar turns to February, our anticipation reaches a whole new level because we not only know meaningful baseball activity is right around the corner, but games that actually count won’t be too far behind. Of course that increased anticipation also leads us to crave for any and all baseball news and information we can dig up, which can lead to some odd or interesting discoveries.
I believe it was with that mentality (or at least I hope) that the following tidbit was uncovered on Friday.
According to the baseball scouting website Perfect Game, there’s a solid high school infielder from Boca Raton, FL who is working his way up the prospect ranks and seems to have a good future ahead of him. Now, obviously that part isn‘t noteworthy, but the fact his given name is Fenway Parks certainly is.

    Awesome story!!

I'm starting to get into baseball mode too. I don't follow every little detail, but lately I find myself turning for quick updates on MLB tonight.
