I am moving to Dallas and transferring my FFL to Texas. In Georgia we are required to obtain business license, handgun license from Georgia State patrol with $1,000 bond and notify Chief of Police or Sheriff in county doing business.

Can anyone provide answers to my questions?

    1. My business is internet based, can you maintain business in you home?

    2. What license or permits are required for a FFL dealer?

    3. Any other pertinent information you can provide would be appreciated?

    1) Yes. Of course HOAs may regulate this and some cities do not approve foot traffic.

    2) None, but you would want a Sales Tax Permit. Again, this might vary city to city.

    3) Texas is business friendly, and there is no state registration of guns.
