Seems you can't remember what you wrote...

You clearly are worried that bullets are the same thing as ammunition (something that the law clearly defines) for control purposes.

I'm worried about nothing as I have no intent to manufacture or sell anything.

If you had paid attention when reading the thread (and my post preceding the one you chose to quote) you would see that I was attempting to confirm previous posts claiming an FFL WAS required in order to manufacture and sell bullets. Something I found odd and saw no evidence of in a quick google search.

Now that I've taken the trouble to spell it out for you, maybe you can put your sword away, Don Quixote.

OK, now I'm confused. Yes I plan on making this a part time business. If bullets are NOT ammo, why do I need any kind of FFL? And why would I need insurance? I'm not loading the damn things for em. You call ATF and they are gonna say you need a store front. I'm planning on making these at home and selling by mail.

And I now have given up on this idea! The 06 FFL isn't a problem but the ITAR bullshit IS! Plus having a million dollar insurance policy IS! Guess I've saved myself a lot of trouble. Thanks to all who responded to this thread.

I use water hardened wheel weights for MY cast bullets that I shoot in metallic silhouette, but was gonna buy commercial metal for my now defunct cast bullet business. lol!

I actually went to the cast bullet forum. There were folks on there that had tried to do the same thing I was planning on, and told me of the pitfalls I would be facing. I had an FFL back in 1976, and there was no ITAR back then. I suppose this was the product of the jug eared, horse-faced bastard we had for our last president.

Yep, ITAR was created in 1976, but I don't think it was really enforced until Slick Willy's administration...

    https://www.pmddtc.state.gov/regulations_laws/documents/official_itar/ITAR_Part_121.pdf
    "CATEGORY III—AMMUNITION/ORDNANCE
    ...
    (1) The components, parts, accessories and attachments controlled in this category include, but are not limited to cartridge cases, powder bags (or other propellant charges), bullets, jackets, cores, shells (excluding shotgun shells), projectiles (including canister rounds and submunitions therefor), boosters, firing components therefor, primers, and other detonating devices for the defense articles controlled in this category. "

    bullshit IMO :(

The good news is that Trump may be able to transfer the regulations from the State Dept. to the Commerce Dept, which might create a workaround from ITAR.
