"Fiddled" global warming data?

Goddard shows how, in recent years, NOAA’s US Historical Climatology Network (USHCN) has been “adjusting” its record by replacing real temperatures with data “fabricated” by computer models. The effect of this has been to downgrade earlier temperatures and to exaggerate those from recent decades, to give the impression that the Earth has been warming up much more than is justified by the actual data.

I wouldn't say "fabricated" temperatures by computer models ... just proposed/predicted temperatures.

But then, there are always the sediment core samples and ice core samples that show temperature swings on this ball of dirt dating back hundreds of millions of years. But that's not what the eco-whores/eco-terrorists want to see. They're using data from just a few hundred years back.

The problem is that they didn't just fiddle with it, They just flat lied. And nothing will happen to them.
