And I have to say a 750gr Amax makes a beautiful sound when it hits a silhouette at 1600 yards!

Armalite AR50-A1, APA bipod and monopod, SWFA 10X42

750gr Amax over 225gr H50 in LC brass.

Tried for 1800 with my last 4 rounds but the target shrank to about a 1moa square and I couldn't spot the misses. Next time....

I've stretched my 7mm-08ai out to 1800yds. Sadly the wind was strong enough that you couldn't hear impacts. Went 4 for 8 which I thought was great since it goes transonic at 1450yds.

I started the day unable to hit a full silhouette at 500 yards, lol.

Shot out the .308 and 6.5. Had about 18 rounds of 50 left so went for 1k (closest target allowed). Was on it about the 4th shot. Having a berm made a big difference.

1100 out had no berms, just a grassy hill. Couldn't spot misses at 1200 so went to 1600. Saw an impact and was able to adjust.

1700 and 1800 went to small moa'ish square plates. Tried to make a mile shot happen but just couldn't see the impacts between the grass and mirage.

I've got much better data to work with no so hopefully it will happen next time. Gonna try and break the thousand yard barrier with my .308 as well. Hoping to stretch it to 1200. Should be dropping about 38" per yard at that point.
