I saw an old thread from about 5 years back that listed a gunsmith in Webster, TX that offered to do it. I called and no one answered, but I'm sure there has to be more places offering bead blasting now right? Anyone know anywhere closer that can do it? Something more in Houston or NW Houston, or any place around Houston for that matter.
I have an Ed Brown 1911 that I had previously sent back to them to get their Gen4 coating refinished , and no less than 6 months and less than 700 rounds, the finish started wearing again. I hate having to send it back to them, and then wait and wait. Not to mention the premium cost you have pay for their service. I want to get the pistol bead blasted to stainless, that way I don't have to worry about finish wearing or peeling off. Any recommendation is appreciated. ThanX!
