My bad for not posting it was S.A. law, lol, but to answer your question I'm assuming yes you can carry a fixed blade.

That's the S.A. knife law, it states that it is unlawful to carry a knife with a locking mechanism with blade less than 5 1/2 inches, where as Texas law is no more than 5 1/2 inches.

Sounds to me like this pretty much prohibits any knife with a locking mechanism in SA TX. Including any size Buck knife.

Slightly off subject but anyone know of any microtech or benchmade dealers in Garland? Been wanting a halo for some time now.

There used to be a good knife shop up in Plano in the mall off 75. That was though multiple and many years ago. And I Thought, there was a knife shop up in Mesquite, either in the mall, or close to it. In Garland proper, about the only place I could think of that would come close, is maybe that Cop and LEO supply place on Garland road.

at the last couple of Premiere shows in Santone there's been a dealer with a good selection of Microtechs at reasonable prices - had some pretty good deals on Chris Reeve knives too!
