    Wow, snazzy joint.

I felt lucky to get a rifle range when I first showed up but it seemed to have 1 or 2 lanes open the whole time I was there (2 hours give'r take early afternoon). This with only four rifle lanes. 100 yard ranges, oh by the way. Indoors.

Range check in. I could not find the assholes so many had talked about. They were real nice here. Every last one of them. Walked me through the rules and in's and out's no muss no fuss.

Very modern rifle target system. At least for me, I 've never seen something so nice. Enter your desired target distance on the touchscreen and off takes the target to that distance. Loved the clean air. A little bright behind me and some minor dim spots down range, but a whole lot better than other ranges around here. A whole lot better.

Pistol Range was a bit more than I what i was used to and again a little brighter than i was used to. Predetermined stop distances are "stepped" to with the touchpad. Much better light balance behind to ahead than rifle range. Did I say clean air? The place is nice and easy to clean up after yourself on both ranges, or at least it seemed. (yeah I am anal about that too :)

Range checkout. As easy as anywhere and again nice as could be. Clean every where. Food smelled good but i had steaks in the fridge @ the house so didn't eat there.

Price. Damn I liked the price for the day i had, was good value. I was told that early bird 1/2 price days were going away, though. Darn that was kinda why i was trying the place out. But, I can see that it must not be necessary as there was hot and cold running people (and a good bit of 'em female) in and out the door the whole time I was there. Don't know how that would affect my return as i have so many good cheaper places close to me now.

How much is better is worth how much more...let me sleep on that.

Thanks Tom for the writeup; a review like that tends to help the rest of us who haven't taken in the experience of that particular shooting range. As long as it's not against any forum rules, I wouldn't have hesitated to include how much you paid or what their rates are for the day's experience you had (or their rate per hour, etc., etc.).

Try the rifle range on the weekend. I think they charge $30. I have a membership and they force me off the rifle lane after about an hour because someone is waiting. Other than that, I like the place. Pistol ranges are fine. I think those are $20. Won't renew my membership. Can't work up rifle loads when only allowed 1 hour a visit. I'll drive to Elm Fork where I can take my time.
