So, my GF comes in the house and tells me to come look, there is a fish in the backyard.
She says that it's by the bird feeder.
I go out to look, and there is a damn fish in my backyard.

She was thinking someone might have thrown it over the fence to hurt our dog.
I'm thinking that due to it being partially eaten, a bird must have dropped it.

    What say ye?

Trying to upload picture and it says "file too large".

    Damn sparrows getting aggressive!!!

Ok here me out on this one. It's been my observation that most raptors don't go for the head first, typically they go straight for the goods. Stomach, filet... from the looks of the pic, looks like a predator of some sort was holding it and eating it like a slice of pizza.... not to say a raptor didn't pick it up after the fact and accidentally drop it in your back yard.
