We rescued a few deer from a flooded stream in MT, putting them in camper in the back of the truck because they were in a similar state to those in the photo. A little ways down the road a couple of them went totally spaz,one fell over and kicked out one of the side windows. We stopped and opened the camper and they came out of there like that little Thai dude coming out of that car trunk in the Hangover. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be a good samaritan.

I also used to fish out half drowned deer when the creek flooded by my house. They were in shock and we would drag them up in the yard...when they came around you generally didn't want to screw with them cause they would go all hulk and freak out.
