    I was reading about his “career” yesterday, and his first go fund me only brought in a few hundred dollars. Once he appealed to the flat earther’s, he brought in much more money.

    I've good news and bad news.

    The good news is he had a parachute and it successfully deployed.

    The bad news is that it deployed early and wasnt properly connected.

    Ide hate to be the parachute guy.
    I am a former military "parachute guy". If he built his own rocket, he probably packed his own chute. He probably had to jerry rig something unconventional up to his unconventional rocket. Theres a reason I spent many hours launching ejection seats down a test track actuating parachutes.

    I saw a documentary on the 'flat earthers' and I had a hard time believing it wasn't satire, but I guess the gullible will always be with us.........

    Yeah. I suspect he didn't really believe any of the flat earth nonsense. But he rode the line to make plenty of money off them.
