Texas Pride is probably the best bbq I've found in the SA area... but (don't hate me) it still doesn't compare to the most delicious bbq, which is only found in South Carolina (pork bbq with yellow sauce).

SC BBQ is a contradiction in terms. - While it is from SC, it's surely is NOT anything like real BBQ.
(My adopted family is from Maysville in Spartanburg County.)

Btw, I knew Maurice, "The King of Yellow Mustard Sauce" when I lived there.

Btw, every time that I go "home", I'm immediately asked when I'm going to cook a hog. = My whole hog is cooked over GREEN HICKORY, PECAN or PEACH wood & served WITH sauce but NOT with it slathered on it.
(Between my niece Kathleen & I, we have been known to feed MAYSVILLE.)

After being up there Sunday, I’d agree. Bunch of idiots on Main just standing around in their masks and gasping anytime anybody got in their bubble.

Those are the libtards from Austin and SA. Most local folks shun the mask (at least the ones I know) and do not sit outside of Silver Creek, that is reserved for the touristas.
