It's not a handgun ... you can open carry and conceal carry long arms so long as you are not doing so "in a manner calculated to cause alarm".

Legal definitions are squirly at best. Regulators try to close every loophole and more open up or define things so arbitrarily they just don't make any sense./

Except they don't stamp the word "pistol" on it. They don't sell it as a "pistol", either.

The OP put "pistol" in "quotes", you see, because it looks like a pistol, but legally isn't.
