Range rule briefing, review of safety procedures, then shoot a couple of typical TAW stages
"TAW Mentors" will actively coach folks before-during-after each stage
Bring eye & ear protection, pistol, holster, and FIFTY rounds of ammo for this event

I'm going to try and make this. Do we need more than two magazines? I have a belt slide, but not a proper holster for my full sized 1911. If the RO doesn't like that rig, I can use my carry gun and holsterif the targets aren't too far away.

Targets will be within 10-12 yards. Bring both, once you see the setup, you can choose which to use. We'll make it work.
What is the mag capacity of your guns?

I have two 7 round mags and a 6 for the Defender. The Government model has 2 8 rounders. I keep meaning to get more for the full sized gun, but no one stocks .38 magazines.

For the matches, you'll want more magazines - for either of the guns. Most using Single-Stack guns have 4-5 magazines.
For this INTRO to TAW event, either gun will work with the mags that you have.
