Hope this is the right place. Had been a member of TexasCHLforum for quite a few years and today inquired about where some of the members had gone, specifically Bitter Clinger. I found he was banned. Why, he questioned the NRA. Now I am a long time supporter and financial donor to the NRA but certainly we know that something is going on there that may not be strictly kosher. Oliver North and Col. West have left them. Their board member and owner of TexasCHLforum will ban one if there are any negative comments about the NRA or even questions about Texas Law Shield. So here we are, I commented about it today, said to go ahead and ban me, my post was removed and I was banned from the site and don't really care. There were some brilliant people on the site and I will miss reading their intellectual posts. What really surprises me is that a site that is so open to the 2A has such a limit on the 1A, and I know that a forum owned and paid for by an individual doesn't have to give me free speech but one would think that the owner of that site, a man who has done so much for gun rights, would also be open to positive and negative comments about the NRA especially when so many prominent big "gun" names are also expressing doubts. You all know who I am talking about so I will not use names. rotor is no more at TexasCHLforum and I don't really care. Walking on eggshells all the time is not my cup of tea.
I would not be surprised if that attorney, NRA board member and forum owner responds with comments that I was banned for "personal" attacks but that was not true. Anyone else treated similarly feel free to respond.
