Active shooter on post. Will update in OP.

Initially it was reported as an exercise. Reports of 1 person injured, shooter fled in a gold vehicle.

All clear at 1557..

Shooting happened at the AMEDD Center.

Not random.

watching channel 5 news now, they said, "We are calling it a possible shooting,...because we don't know how this person(female) was injured, but it certainly seems that as if there has been some sort of violence there"........WTF?????.......DAMN!!!

Read somewhere online that the shooter was a retired CSM and was in a relationship with his victim. Names were left out but they did mention he drove off in a Gold Mitsubishi. Lots of speculation of race because of the car.

i remember a day when we had a shooting at Ft Sam and it didnt make the national news

it was a domestic - a retired sergeant major shot his significant other - i think she's ok - he's in jail
