So Ive worked over here in Fairfield for about 8 years and I run through MickeyD's occasionally and visit Sonic the same.
Sitting in line at MickeyD's the other day and noticed this kids playground cover across the street at Sonic peekin at me through the trees and it tickled me....

They were caught & released. Hard concept when you spent the last 14 days hunting & killing animals.
One of the more messed up laws in RSA are concerning military ammo. One of my guns I hunted with was a .308, but possessing 7.62 ball would get you locked up. Same thing for any caliber ball, tracer, ap, incendiary ammo.
One place I hunted they had a stash of South African ball & they were very happy to shoot it all up because they didn't want to get caught with it. My hunting buddy also had a .308 so the first thing when they check you & your rifle they suggested a bit of gambling on who was the best shot. The test was a beer can @ 100 yards offhand. Later I took a blackback jacket @300 yards. The guides thought most Americans & all Texans were all talk.
The gar he pulled out of Trinity was about that size.
