    Umm.... ya do realize not all metal is magnetic don't ya? Aluminum, some stainless steel alloys, and many other metals aren't affected by a magnet.

    It's why ya can't pick your brass up with a magnet.

    Most, if not all the stuff you described is not ferrous.

    Yes I realize not all metals are magnetic. And yes I have a decent idea of what items in a room are and are not magnetic. I've worked in commercial construction for over 30 years. Walls built with magnetic metal studs. Sheet rock hung with magnetic steel screws. I've seen MRI places move into suites in buildings that were not purpose built for MRI machines.
