    I was a Letter Carrier for 35 years. During that time, some of the stuff people tried to or did mail would curl some hairs. Examples: A panty with a stamp attached. A pound of pot, 3 Pistols, with that written on the box label (circa 1979 or 80), A box of lizards. In the mid-late 70's shipping baby chicks and ducks was pretty common, but not so common, snails, snakes and rats.
