I never missed a girls volleyball game in high school. Back when I (very briefly) did some work for the US Olympic Committee, I used my super-credentials to sit on the floor with the Women's Volleyball teams during qualifiers. My first stop at the Atlanta Olympics was Women's Beach Volleyball; Wolf Creek (the shooting venue) could wait.

I could go on and on but suffice it to say that I am an avid viewer of women's volleyball. I wouldn't call myself a fan since I know next to nothing about it but "avid viewer" is a pretty apt description.

I follow zero sports. On a rare occasion a coworker asks me about a game that was on last night I usually tell them " I didnt know it was women's beach volleyball season" or " women's beach volleyball, and women's tennis, with the volume turned all the way, up are the only sports I watch"
