    I was surprised when I opened the fridge at work, and somebody had put their "purchased already boiled" egg in there.
    Never knew they existed, lol....

    I bought 'em once just as an experiment. They're terrible. If you read the label, there are some additives (preservatives?) that I can't pronounce. Whatever they are, they screw with the taste and texture.

    In Europe back in the 70’s the Swedes were selling “tube eggs.” The yolks were separated and extruded as long tubes with the whites added in the extrusion process later. You got perfect slices of “egg” in your salads. And yeah, they tasted funny. Part of what they put into the eggs was lecithin. Blaaagh!
